Bingo and Quizzes Wednesday Senior Club
Affiliated to the Community Association, this club welcomes all people over the age of 60. It meets at the Community Centre every week. It is a small, friendly club who enjoy a nice chat, a few games of bingo and often arrange trips out for members.

Charity Dinner Hosted by Aylesbury College Students
Aylesbury College students are gearing up to “take over” the Holiday Inn Aylesbury, on Thursday 2nd March.

Students will be working alongside experienced staff members in Reception, the Spirit Health Club and in the hotel’s Junction Restaurant. Students will be gaining valuable work experience and finding out what it is like to work in the industry with the pressures, challenges and rewards of the hospitality sector.

As part of the takeover day, Aylesbury College Hospitality and Catering students will be hosting a 3-course Charity Dinner at the hotel in the evening, where they will prepare and serve the whole meal, supported by college Tutors. Tickets for the dinner are priced at £30 per person, with at least £20 of the ticket price being donated to the Mix 96 Charity of the Year. Live Music Rehearsals and club nights
Fun rehearsals twice a week working towards a performance. Current show in rehearsal Trial by Jury and In Flanders Field. Cat show
The Red Point and Tortie Point Siamese Cat Club are holding their annual cat show at Wendover Memorial Hall on Saturday 4th March 2017. If you love cats and kittens, and would like to come along to see all the beautiful cats on show, we will be open to the public from 12.30 – 4pm and will be very pleased to meet you. Admission prices are £2.50, or £1.50 for Senior Citizens and Children. You will find plenty of like-minded people happy to tell you all about their cats, and we have home made refreshments on sale. There will also be a huge tombola with plenty of prizes as well as a very good raffle. The climax of the show, the Best in Show judging, takes place at about 3pm.

There are classes for all colour Siamese and Oriental breeds of cat, and we also have a Household Pet section where you may enter your own beautiful non-pedigree cats, long-haired or short-haired, marmalade, black, tabby, tortoiseshell ….. or whichever colour you have! Entries close on 13th February, and if you are an exhibitor, you would need to arrive by 9am on the morning of the show.

Please note that if you would like to enter your own special puss, your entry form needs to be received by 13th February at the latest, as you will not be able to enter on the day.
