IGSA Monthly Coffee Posse
Dear All

https://www.facebook.com/events/608667775907264/

2 August
at 12:00–14:00
Show Map
Costa Coffee, Wendover
HP22 6 Wendover, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom
We are now starting to organise monthly get togethers, or Coffee Posses for the local LGBTIQ Community and Victims of Crime.

All members of the community are welcome, regardless and Sex, Gender, Sexuality and Gender Identity et al.

Initially we are hoping to hold these on the First Saturday of every month, the first being on Saturday 2 August 2014 at 12:00 noon. We will of course have a vote as to how often the meetings should be held and the best format for them.

This event is to provide an open forum for those people who are not necessarily happy going directly to Thames Valley Police with their concerns or who are in need of support in their daily lives.

As this is the first Coffee Posse, it is envisaged that this would be used as a general gathering to see how we would like the meetings to be used and in order to gauge the number of people who would be interested in attending, also to construct a mail list for our monthly newsletter.

Moving forward, it is envisaged that we will have monthly guest speakers from:

1. OutEverywhere - on Safe LGBTIQ Social Networking

2. 17-24-30 - by Mark Healy - on How to Report Hate Crime and the Different Types of Hate Crime

3. International Gender and Sexuality Alliance - on Global LGBTIQ Campaigns

Anyone else who would like to present on a subject, please let us know on igsa@assmgroup.co.uk

We would obviously like to keep it as relaxed as possible, but in the future, we may have a look at having donation buckets to raise funds for the supporting groups.

Looking forward to seeing you on 2 August 2014.

Kind Regards

Julien FitzGerald HNC(BusFin)

Outdoor Events Aylesbury Parkrun
What is Aylesbury parkrun?
It is a 5km run - it's not a race, it's you against the clock.

When is it?
Every Saturday at 9:00am.

Where is it?
The event takes place in the fields opposite the Quarrendon & Meadowcroft Community Centre, Aylesbury, HP19 9HH. See Course page on our site for more details.

What does it cost to join in?
Nothing - it's free! but please register at www.parkrun.org.uk/register before your first run. Only ever register with parkrun once. Don't forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode. If you forget it, you won't get a time.

How fast do I have to be?
We all run for our own enjoyment. Please come along and join in whatever your pace, have fun, make friends & help keep fit.

Aylesbury parkrun needs you!
It is entirely organised by volunteers - email aylesburyhelpers@parkrun.com to volunteer. If every runner volunteered a couple times a year we'd be covered.

We're friendly!

Love Parks Week - A Curious Treetop Tale
High up in the branches of Vale Parks Black Poplars a curious tale is unfolding. Tiny creatures and treetop storytellers give glimpses of the past and act out tales of bravado, mishap and punishment. Sun gods, snow seeds, tears of amber, transforming sisters, clogs, moths, matches and the favourite warship of Henry V111! Woven and spun through the branches are small vignettes of wonder and derring-do, foraged objects and castaways. Look out for the golden key that unlocks the way!

This is a public art installation by Pippa North.

Enter Vale Park from the High Street end. The installation can be find within a line of trees near the memorial fountain.
