Haddenham Neighbourhood Plan consultation workshop
Have your say! The Neighbourhood Plan team are aiming to define the maximum numbers of houses that are sustainable on the various sites around the village to include in the Plan before the end of the year. They are holding a "site allocation workshop" on Saturday 27 Sep from 10 o'clock in the Haddenham Community Infant School Hall to define the criteria against which all potential sites can be judged. Come along for a cup of tea and have your say on what is important to you.

Museum opens for 2014
Amersham Museum reopens for its 2014 season on 1st March 2014. It is open Saturdays & Sundays in March & then Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sundays from April 2014. Admission is £2.50 for adults, £1.00 for 5-15 year olds with under 5s free.

Outdoor Events Aylesbury parkrun
What is Aylesbury parkrun?
It is a 5km run - it's not a race, it's you against the clock.

When is it?
Every Saturday at 9:00am.

Where is it?
The event takes place in the fields opposite the Quarrendon & Meadowcroft Community Centre, Aylesbury, HP19 9HH. See Course page on our site for more details.

What does it cost to join in?
Nothing - it's free! but please register at www.parkrun.org.uk/register before your first run. Only ever register with parkrun once. Don't forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode. If you forget it, you won't get a time.

How fast do I have to be?
We all run for our own enjoyment. Please come along and join in whatever your pace, have fun, make friends & help keep fit.

Aylesbury parkrun needs you!
It is entirely organised by volunteers - email aylesburyhelpers@parkrun.com to volunteer. If every runner volunteered a couple times a year we'd be covered.

Volunteers Required
Connection Floating Support provide a housing related support service to enable people to maintain their tenancy, avoid homelessness and live as independently as possible.

We require new volunteers to act as Independent Living Mentors - giving 1 or 2 hours a week or fortnight, to help our clients with tasks such as budgeting, basic cooking skills, completing CV's or job applications or accompanying them to appointments.

No prior experience is required - just the will to make a difference. Training is given and travel expenses are covered.

Brownies
Brownies are part of Girl Guiding UK the biggest girl only organisation in the world.

A girl can join Brownies at 7 and stay until the end of the term in which they turn 11 however they are able to move up to Guides at 10.

There are lots of Brownies all over the world taking part in fun and adventurous activities and your daughter could be a part of that.

There are many other units in the area and so if this day and time does not suit your family please visit www.girlguiding.org.uk/interested to register your interest and find a unit that is!
