Care & Support Bank Workers required to work on a zero hour contract to cover for holidays, absence and emergency support needs.

Hightown has a reputation for providing high quality care and supported housing across Bucks and Herts. Today we support over 800 adults in different settings, including care homes, supported living services and in the community.

 

About the role

 

You will support people to live in their own home, which may be in a supported living scheme or in the wider community, offering help with daily living tasks as part of support plans to help people live as independently as possible, lead fulfilling lives and achieve their goals.

 

 As a bank worker, dependent on your areas of interest, you will have the unique opportunity to gain experience of working with a diverse range of client groups, including people with Learning Disabilities (including Autistic Spectrum Disorders), Mental Health problems, Young people and adults experiencing Homelessness and women who have survived Domestic Violence.

 

 

 

About you

 

Experience is great but not always necessary - we provide a full induction and training programme for people with the right attitude: compassionate, enthusiastic, respectful and with a real “can-do” approach. A driving license is advantageous.

 

 We have shifts available that include weekends, nights, bank holidays and sleep-ins...

 

 You must be over 18 years of age. All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
