Fatal collision in Wendover

A man's died in Wendover this morning after a collision on the Ellesborough Road.
The collision was between a blue VW Polo and a blue Ford Galaxy taxi in Ellesborough Road, between Wendover and Butlers Cross, at 6.11am.
The driver of the Polo, a 64 year-old man from Bedfordshire, died at the scene.
The driver of the Galaxy, a 27 year-old man, has been taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital for treatment.
His injuries are not life-threatening.
The affected stretch of Ellesborough Road is likely to remain closed until lunchtime to allow for the carriageway to be cleared of debris.
