The Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire wants YOU to nominate local voluntary groups.
The Queens Award for Voluntary Service is like an MBE for un-paid organisations, recognising their contribution to society - but this year they was nowhere near the normal number of nominations
Lord Lieutenant Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher told us how winning one can help: "The crucial thing is they are unpaid volunteers doing something important in the community. Very often they do it without any recognition and are happy to do it without recognition, because they realise they are doing something valuable."
