Bucks Train Disruption Continues

Heavy delays continue for rail passengers into a second dat after a freight train engine - derailed in Buckinghamshire, along the West Coast mainline.

It happed at around 0230 am Friday at Bletchley - and stopped all trains between Milton Keynes and Euston.

The line was partly re-opened Friday afternoon - but heavy delays persist during Saturday.

Passengers are being advised to check with national rail enquiries before setting off.

Meanwhile, Mix96 has been told there's delays of up to 25 minutes on London Midland services during Saturday morning between Tring and Euston due to overhead line problems between Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead.
