Bucks Crime Drama Star - Broody

Gavin and Stacey star Sheridan Smith - says her new role as Ronnie Biggs' wife has changed her outlook on life.

Sheriden plays the lead role as Charmian Brent in the serial "Mrs Biggs".

The story starts with the couple at the time of the 1963 Great Train Robbery - which took place just outside the hamlet of Mentmore in Buckinghamshire, south of Leighton Buzzard.

Sheriden (left) says playing the part of Charmian meant regular contact with the real woman & her children - and says - it's changed her outlook on life:

"Just had my birthday recently and one of my screen sons came along with his mummy and I got really broody all of a sudden!"

The programme, on ITV-1 - is broadcast from September.
