Whilst chatting to a caller on the Mix 96 Breakfast show, I found myself stupidly saying the words 'waxing doesn't hurt, it's painless...' 

Immediately the studio switchboard lit up with calls from angry residents of the vale who took issue with my claim.

Listeners demanded that in order to appreciate the stupidity of what I'd said, I should undergo a damn good waxing myself before judging others.

With our Hope for Haitai online auction in full swing, it was suggested that I get waxed to raise money for the DEC.

On Friday 12th February 2010, I visited The Belmore Centre in Stoke Mandeville for my waxing.
