Buckinghamshire Armed Forces Day 2015

Armed Forces Day is a chance for us to show our support for the Armed Forces Community.

This year we will be hosting a family fun day on Saturday 27th June 2015 at Aylesbury Rugby Club from 1pm-7pm.

There will be entertainment for the whole family to enjoy including live music, a zip wire, craft stalls, beer tent, fun fair, children’s activities and an air show!

You'll even get to see a fly past by a Spitfire (like the picture) and a Hurricane.

To purchase tickets go to www.buckscc.gov.uk/armedforcesday.

FAQ

What do I do if I haven't received my tickets?

If you have brought your tickets from the online shop and you have not received your tickets two weeks prior to the event please email bucksccevents@buckscc.gov.uk

Can I park my car?

There is limited car parking next to Aylesbury Rugby Club in Weston Turville. Please car share wherever possible. There will also be a limited service from Aylesbury to the event. Timings to be confirmed.

What are the event times?

The event will open to the public on Saturday 27th June from 13.00 – 19.00

Is there disabled access and seating?

There are limited disabled spaces for those that display a valid blue badge in the hard standing car park. These spaces must be booked in advance. Other car parking spaces will be reserved in the field near the main entrance. To guarantee a space please contactbucksccevents@buckscc.gov.uk.  Access to the venue is step-free and there are disabled WCs located on site.

There will not be a specific viewing area for disabled visitors, but if you arrive early we can ensure that you get to the front of the stage.  Please note that this is an outside event and whilst we endeavour to make the event as accessible as possible, if the weather is poor the terrain may be problematic.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes you can bring your dog, provided it is on a lead at all times and that you clear up after them.  Bins will be provided.  No dogs are to be left in cars in the car park.

I am a member of the Armed Forces, do I have to wear uniform?

There is no dress code for the event, we want you to feel comfortable and enjoy your day. Please come in uniform if you prefer.
