Exhibitions HS2 // INTERVENTION: Unique Laser Photography documenting the HS2 route by award-winning photographer Mark King
Using state-of-the-art lasers, Mark’s project explores where the proposed ‘High Speed 2’ (HS2) train route will travel through the countryside. Serving as an important historical document they show how the landscape could be irrevocably transformed.

Following on from two previous exhibitions on the same theme, Mark has recorded new locations that lie beyond The Chilterns AONB.

Illustrated by using two green lasers to replicate the concept of train tracks, the lasers are mounted on a custom built platform separated by the width of the planned track gauge. They are then projected along the plotted path using various calculations.

This free exhibition will run from 29th April to 8th July.

On: 10.00am Sat 29th Apr 2017
Until: 4.00pm Sat 8th Jul 2017
Address: Bucks County Museum, Church Street, Aylesbury, Aylesbury, HP20 2QP
