Midnight Walk 2017
Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity brings its spectacular Midnight Walk back for the 8th consecutive year! Ladies can choose from either a 6 mile or 13 mile circular walk starting at midnight on Saturday 24 June at Aylesbury College, Oxford Road, Aylesbury. Walkers can arrive at any time from 10pm to register, with the official start being at 12pm.

Registration is £18 and includes a souvenir Midnight Walk T-shirt, breakfast at the finish, water and snacks at the Pitstops along the way and a fabulous medal.

All sponsorship raised contributes a huge amount to the work of Florence Nightingale Hospice, but there is no minimum requirement.

The Summer Pearl Ball
Scannappeal is delighted to present its 30th Anniversary Summer Pearl Ball on Saturday 24th June, which will be held at the beautiful Crowne Plaza, Gerrards Cross.

The evening will include a sparkling drinks reception and delicious three-course dinner with well-known TV personality Robert Lindsay in attendance. There will be a live charity auction with some amazing unique prizes including a fantastic lot from Celebrity Chef Tom Kerridge. The night will also include a fun casino and dancing well into the evening with the UK’s leading party covers band, The Choice who have played for HRH Princess Anne and at Elton John’s Christmas Ball.

My name is Marc Kenny and I'm a FA qualified Level 2 coach.
I also am DBS checked,Emergency First Aid,safeguarding and am the clubs Welfare Officer.
All our coaches are DBS checked and passes and have safeguarding and first aid trained.
We are always looking for eager children to join our set up regardless of ability.
We as coaches will always make sure that your child enjoys and learns skills and techniques on there journey at Hale Leys Utd.
We also make sure that they learn about respect,FairPlay and above all Team work.
So come along with your child for a Free first session and we will welcome you and all your family into our great club.

What is Aylesbury parkrun?
It is a 5km run - it's not a race, it's you against the clock.

When is it?
Every Saturday at 9:00am.

Where is it?
The event takes place in the fields opposite the Quarrendon & Meadowcroft Community Centre, Aylesbury, HP19 9HH. See Course page on our site for more details.

What does it cost to join in?
Nothing - it's free! but please register at before your first run. Only ever register with parkrun once. Don't forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode. If you forget it, you won't get a time.

How fast do I have to be?
We all run for our own enjoyment. Please come along and join in whatever your pace, have fun, make friends & help keep fit.

Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller
Tring Festival Company is staging Arthur Miller’s acclaimed play, Death of a Salesman - a probing examination of the myths of the self-made man and the search for The American Dream.
This Pulitzer Prize-winning play presents the last days of Willy Loman, a disillusioned salesman. By a tragic series of soul-searching revelations of the past life he has lived with his wife, his sons and his business associates, we discover how he has failed to win success and happiness.
A moving piece of theatre from the master.
The play is often on schools reading lists so there are attractive prices for students.

Exhibitions Bucks Open Studios 2017
FREE ENTRY - Bucks Open Studios is the largest visual arts event in Buckinghamshire and this year takes place 10-25 June. The annual artistic extravaganza showcases over 500 artists and makers who open up their studios to the public for two weeks with an impressive line-up of free demonstrations, hands-on workshops and exhibitions in over 200 venues across Buckinghamshire.

The wealth of artists and makers in our county, responsible for the vast array of work which is shown and sold to the public each year, is astonishing and we look forward to introducing new visitors to this great event. Exhibitions Mixed Media Exploring Mental Health
An art exhibition by local artist Suz Hemming exploring her experience of psychological distress through mixed media. This event is of interest to anybody who wants to simply enjoy art and/or explore and learn more about mental health difficulties from the perspective of someone with lived experience. The body of work isn't recommended as suitable for children as it explores in depth the themes of self harm, suicide, anorexia and Borderline Personality disorder, all content likely to be particularly sensitive will be indicated.

Exhibitions Artists at Green Dragon for Children's Art Week and Bucks Open Studios
Artists at Green Dragon, 13 local artists with a variety of disciplines, has announced a FREE Open Studios event that all the family can enjoy. The group, which is part of Bucks Open Studios, will be showcasing works in a wide range of media including; painting, printmaking, textiles, illustration, ceramics, metal sculpture, and silver jewellery. The event, which takes at the Green Dragon Eco Centre in Hogshaw 16-25 June, will give visitors the opportunity to talk to the artists as well as see them at work as most will be demonstrating their artistic practice throughout the event. In addition, they will have a wonderful array of art on display and for sale.

Artists at Green Dragon has also been working to include the local community and has invited North Bucks Primary Schools to enter a competition to create 2D/3D dragons made from recycled materials. The finished dragons from will be displayed at The Green Dragon Eco Centre during 16th - 25th June for the visiting public to view and vote on their winner. The competition is also part of Children’s Art Week. Last year, more than 13,000 people took part in an amazing 109 events across 95 wonderful venues all around the UK.

On Tuesday 20th June the group will welcome Buckinghamshire potter Elaine Wells (recent contestant from BBC 2’s Great Pottery Throwdown) as a guest. Elaine will spend the afternoon (2pm – 6pm) on her wheel demonstrating her craft. There will also be a talk by Cathy Read on being a contestant on Sky Art’s Landscape Artist of the Year

Some of the artists also run courses throughout the year, these courses may also be purchased as gifts.

The venue boasts, ample free parking, wheelchair access, child friendly activities, and an Eco Café serving delicious homemade food and cakes.
