Nether Winchendon Mad Hatters Fete
Mad Hatters at the 2017 Nether Winchendon Fete.

The 2017 Nether Winchendon Fete celebrates the Mad Hatters Tea Party with all the Fete favourites including Vintage Cars, Teas, Cakes, a Pimms Bar, The Bisham Concert Band, Plants, Books, Tombola and for the children, a Bouncy Castle, Arts Corner, Races, Punch and Judy, Tractor Rides and much more.

The beautiful gardens of historic Nether Winchendon House - a 12th Century Manor, once the home of Queen Matilda - play host to this quintessential English garden Fete for all the family.

Entrance is £2 on the gate

Exhibitions Bucks Open Studios 2017
FREE ENTRY - Bucks Open Studios is the largest visual arts event in Buckinghamshire and this year takes place 10-25 June. The annual artistic extravaganza showcases over 500 artists and makers who open up their studios to the public for two weeks with an impressive line-up of free demonstrations, hands-on workshops and exhibitions in over 200 venues across Buckinghamshire.

The wealth of artists and makers in our county, responsible for the vast array of work which is shown and sold to the public each year, is astonishing and we look forward to introducing new visitors to this great event. Exhibitions Mixed Media Exploring Mental Health
An art exhibition by local artist Suz Hemming exploring her experience of psychological distress through mixed media. This event is of interest to anybody who wants to simply enjoy art and/or explore and learn more about mental health difficulties from the perspective of someone with lived experience. The body of work isn't recommended as suitable for children as it explores in depth the themes of self harm, suicide, anorexia and Borderline Personality disorder, all content likely to be particularly sensitive will be indicated.

Outdoor Events Garden Party at Ashridge House
Set in the beautiful gardens of Ashridge House, The Hospice of St Francis Garden Party offers a perfect afternoon for all the family. The event is jam-packed with a large selection of quality stalls with a delicious choice of food including our popular cream teas, local craft beer, ice cream and Pimms.

Children have plenty of activities and entertainments to keep them happy - circus skills, sumo fun, Punch and Judy shows, face painting, bouncy castles and much more!
Last year the Garden Party attracted 4,000 people from across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and beyond and raised nearly £40,000 to fund the Hospice's free, expert care for people living with life-limiting illnesses

The village of Ludgershall, near Brill, Bucks is holding its bi-annual fete on Sunday 11th June. This is a traditional fete held in the beautiful grounds of The Old Rectory HP18 9PG. The many attractions include a Silver Band, Barrel Organ, Punch and Judy shows, tractor rides, vintage car and tractor displays, BBQ, teas, Beer, Pimms and Prosecco stalls.
