Support Workers - Working with Children

CYPDQ387100

MacIntyre Care

Are you looking for a new opportunity in the new year? Are you someone who is warm, willing to learn, and resilient? Then you are probably just the person our children need. You'll be a Support Worker at our children's home, working with children who have autism and severe learning disabilities. Part of a close-knit team, you'll support children and young people aged 11 to 19, supporting them with their daily lives and encouraging them to take part in community activities and hobbies.

We have full-time (37.5 hours per week), and part-time work available (minimum 22.5 hours per week), and you'll be working shifts include days, evenings and weekends.

You may have been a care worker before, but if not don’t worry, you don’t need experience – so long as you have the right approach, we can teach you the rest. We’ll support you to gain your Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (free of charge), alongside other specialist training all provided on site by MacIntyre.
