This little chap is such a character and considering his past he is the happiest dog you will meet! Poor Teachi was originally brought to us as he was often abused and hurt by the children- this has therefore led him to be nervous and unsure of them. Due to this we are looking for a home with people aged 16+.

We are looking for special people to adopt this little fella as he will need ongoing training to help him overcome his fear of children. Teachi can also be unsure of new people that approach him too quickly so any potential adopters will need to understand what to do in certain situations that worry Teachi. He has already progressed lots since he has been here so that would need to continue.

Teachi can be reactive to other dogs but this is because he is unsure of them and probably never been taught how to correctly interact with them. He has found quite a lot of female dog friends so we think he would be fine living with a female dog in a new home- pending a successful mix here at the centre.

Teachi needs to live in a nice quiet area where he isn't going to encounter lots of people or dogs. Once he knows you he just loves to be close to you and gets so excited with being fussed.
We really hope his behaviour doesn't put people off as he has had such a horrible, tough start to life, but who can blame him? We know the right people are out there some where for little Teachi.
