The League Table of Love Songs

So we've found the best love song ever..thanks to you!

Your votes crowned Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You as the greatest love song ever. So Whitney's the Queen of the Night this Valentine's, after seeing off the challenge of the 7 other finalists.

Also congratulations to Katherine Fisher. She voted for the winning song, and gets £250 to spend at Aylesbury Bullion!

You can listen to, and watch the videos, from all the finalists below...with love from us!

DAY 1: In the first battle it was the Righteous Brothers who came out on top with Unchained Melody, beating Wet Wet Wet's Love is All Around.

DAY 2: A very close fight between Ed Sheeran and Marvin Gaye, but it was Ed who came out on top as Thinking Out Loud triumphed (just) over Let's Get It On.

DAY 3: Day 3 belonged to Van Morrison, as Have I Told You Lately defeated Chris De Burgh's Lady in Red.

DAY 4: Another epic clash, as we said goodbye to Lionel Richie's Hello. Aerosmith speed into the final like an asteroid racing towards earth with I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing.

DAY 5: This one wasn't even close! Whitney's movie number one I Will Always Love You trounced George Michael's Careless Whisper.

DAY 6: Another round of songs from movies, and this time Celine Dion's Titanic My Heart Will Go On was sunk by Roxette's It Must Have Been Love.

DAY 7: It was number 1 for yonks in the 90's, and it's still your number one now it seems. Bryan Adams Everything I Do saw off Adele Make You Feel My Love to progress to the final

DAY 8: So Sinead O'Connor didn't compare to Elton John. Your Song was your choice, and completes the final ahead of Nothing Compares To You
