Cheryl Gillan re-elected in Chesham and Amersham

Chesham and Amersham has re-elected Dame Cheryl Gillan.

Dame Cheryl has been MP for the area for 27 years having been elected in  1992 and will continue to represent it in parliament having won a vote share of 55%.

She got 30,850 votes, which is more than double the nearest opponent, Liberal Democrat Dan Gallagher who finished with 14,627 votes.

Labour finished third with 12.9% of the vote and The Green Party got 5.5%.
