New Estate Proposed For Risborough

New Estate Proposed For Risborough

Published by the Mix96 News Team at 12:38pm 5th February 2010. (Updated at 1:41pm 5th February 2010)

Revised plans for 400 new homes at Park Mill Farm in Princes Risborough go on show this weekend.

3 thousand homes and businesses have been invited to see the plans.

The exhibition is being held on Saturday 6th February between 10am and 4pm at The Community Centre (Stratton Road, Princes Risborough, HP27 9AX).

Spokeswoman for the developer, Anna Sabine, said “We are excited to be bringing these new plans to Princes Risborough to see what local people think. 400 homes is far fewer than has been suggested on previous proposals, plus these new plans bring the opportunity for affordable housing for local families and improved transport links to the town centre
and railway station.”

Wycombe District Council identified this site as an option for development in the recent Site Allocations document for 700 homes.

Developers say the plan includes:

* Improved recreation facilities

* 'Market family housing' alongside a large proportion of affordable housing (180 homes)  to encourage young families to stay in and move to the area.

* Links to the town centre and railway station encouraging trade in the town and also sustainable transport

* If people want to have their say but can’t come to the exhibition, they can contact Meeting Place Communications on info@meetingplacecommunications.com or 01225 422243 and have the information sent to them.
