Anyone who thinks they might be affected by HS-2 - has a chance to formally give the government their views on the range of compensation available - from today.

The Government's Property Consultation officially opens today - and gives people along the route 12 weeks to give their responses to the various options - including Need To Sell, Rentback and Express Purchess.

The Department for Transport say they want residents to contribute their views on the measures available to
property owners near the route of the new railway.

The consultation closes at 1145pm on Tuesday 30 September 2014.
