Serious Assault Outside Aylesbury Pub

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious assault on a man outside a pub in Aylesbury early on Sunday morning.

At around 1.29am police received a report that a man had been punched in the face outside Bar 36 in Market Square. He had then fallen backwards and hit his head on the ground.

The victim, a 27-year-old man, was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries

Officers attended and arrested a 22-year-old man at the scene on suspicion of GBH. He is currently in police custody.
