Are Vulnerable Children Still At-Risk In Bucks?

A year after Buckinghamshire's children's services were branded inadequate, have lessons been learned?

The Ofsted report was damning when it came to nearly every aspect of the teams at Bucks County Council.

Staffing was too low, case loads too high and management poor.

The Council immediately started making changes, including new managers, but a year down the line, how are the people on the front line feeling?

Dan's been speaking to Ruth Ayres, a social worker, and David Johnston, Department Director:

The staff themselves were heavily criticised by the public after the report came out, but David told us they weren't to blame.

There were 13 frontline social workers when Ofsted visited - today there are 40.
