Confusion Over Waddesdon Relief Road

After a row over a relief road the council say they just want what's best for Waddesdon.

The decision on whether Waddesdon will get a relief road for HS2s construction traffic is causing problems.

Two surveys were put out, one by the Parish Council and one by developers Arnold White, but both got very different results.

Now it's being reported both sides think the other's got it wrong and people were confused about whether the road would be permanent or temporary.

Each side thinks the other's survey was flawed, but Councillor Paul Irwin told us Waddesdon's is not.

He said:

"Our consultation was checked five times and I'd be more than happy for it to be checked independently it wouldn't be a problem at all because there's absolutely nothing to hide.

"Yes I am a politician but we're not all corrupt at the end of the day.

"I do it because I believe in what I do and I'm very passionate about protecting the village where I come from."
