Fire crews were called to tackle a large blaze involving three thatched cottages in Princes Risborough on Saturday morning.

A total of 14 fire engines and around 55 firefighters went to the scene on Upper Icknield Way in the Whiteleaf area, at around 9.45am.

The roofs and first floors of the cottages were destroyed, but luckily no-one was injured.

Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service say the blaze could have started in the chimney, but it's too early to confirm the cause.
