Pint Of Beer To Be Launched Into Space In Whitchurch

Beer

5:22am 13th April 2016

A pub in Whitchurch are sending their beer into space.

The White Swan are floating a pint to Astronaut Tim Peake from the pub garden by a high altitude balloon this lunchtime.

They've, of course, tweeted him to say it's on its way.

Landlords Pete and Ros said:

"Although he obviously will not be able to receive it the idea is to promote Fullers and the London Marathon.

"Fullers London Pride is a sponsor of the Marathon and the competitors receive a pint after the race.

"Tim Peake is doing the Marathon on a treadmill in space.... so why should he miss out on a pint?!"
