A number of Aylesbury Vale businesses have been voted the best across Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

The Works picked up Best Casual Dining in the Muddy Stilettos awards, while Rocky and Kook got Best Women's Boutique.

Hero Brown runs the website and told us why these awards are so important:

"We had 25,000 people voting.

"People really get behind it, because it's free to enter, businesses get certificates and window rosettes.

"We write about them on the blog as well.

"It's just a real feel-good experience and can make a huge difference to a business."
