Aylesbury Man Jailed For Stabbing Ex-Partner

Published by the Mix96 News Team at 9:35am 3rd July 2016.

A 32-year-old man has been sentenced to three years’ imprisonment for GBH.

Garran Graham, of Coxhill Way, Aylesbury, was found guilty by a unanimous jury on Thursday at Amersham Crown Court of one count of S20 Grievous Bodily Harm after a three day trial. He was sentenced on the same day to three years’ imprisonment.

Graham was arrested on 23 August 2015 in connection with an incident in Aylesbury in May 2011 where he stabbed his ex-partner twice in the upper thigh with a kitchen knife causing two wounds that required hospital treatment.

Investigating officer DC Diane Rooney, from Aylesbury CID, said:

“I would like to thank the victim and witnesses for their courage and patience in coming forward and giving evidence to ensure Graham was brought to justice for his actions.

“Thames Valley Police take all cases of domestic abuse extremely seriously and support the victims of such violence throughout the judicial process.”
