Lead Stolen From Church Roof

The Church, on Church Lane, Aston Clinton had the lead taken from a flat section of the roof, but the offenders also damaged the church boundary so they could move the lead to a car.

It happened between 10pm on Wednesday 6 July and 5pm on Thursday 7 July.

PC Lauren Suffling, from Aylesbury CID, said:

"If anyone saw anything suspicious in the area either before, during or after this time period, please get in contact with me by calling 101.

"This crime will have a lasting impact on the church and local community and I would urge anyone who becomes aware of a large quantity of lead for sale to get in touch."
