Body Found In Aylesbury

Grand Union Canal - Aylesbury 2

A man's body has been found in Aylesbury.

Thames Valley Police have confirmed they were called to Exchange Street yesterday (12th April) at around 12.30pm.

The death of the man in his fifties is unexplained but not suspicious.

Officers who attended put a corden in place around the canal basin and the businesses in the area like Waitrose and Travelodge.

Police say at this stage there are no suspicious circumstances and that they are preparing a file for the coroner.
