11:00am 21st April 2017

A 48-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man from High Wycombe have been arrested on suspicion of production of a controlled substance.

A forensic investigation is now being carried out at a property on Chiltern Avenue in the town.

Two neighbouring properties were evacuated  as a precaution with the priority being the safety of the public.

No one was injured and the investigation continues.

Chief Inspector Graham Hadley, Deputy LPA commander for Wycombe, said:

“We would like to thank the community for their patience and tolerance while we carry out this investigation.

“We would urge anyone who sees suspicious activity in their neighbourhood which could relate to drug use or production to contact us on 101.”
