The Independent candidate for Aylesbury has had a drink thrown over him by a stranger this afternoon (19/05).

It happened just before 1pm as Kyle Michael was on his way to the Mix 96 studios to talk about his candidacy.

The stranger then reportedly shouted 'Stop splitting the vote!'.

Kyle said:

"I obviously disagree with that point. People should have an alternative voice, but if you disagree with me, please come up and talk to me, come and challenge me on the issues.

"I don't think throwing a cup of tea serves any purpose to anyone."
