Henley & Thame elect John Howell as their MP

John Howell has been elected as Henley & Thame's MP.

The Conservative candidate took 59% of the vote, similar to the election in 2015.

Labour came second - their candidate Oliver Kavanagh got 11,455 votes - a 20% share of the vote (up 7.5%).

Laura Coyle from the Lib Dems came third with 8,485 votes (14.9%) while the Greens finished fourth and UKIP fifth.

The Radical Party came last with 392 votes.
