The seaside is coming to Aylesbury today

Aylesbury on Sea

Published by the Mix96 News Team at 7:55am 2nd July 2017. (Updated at 4:49pm 2nd July 2017)

This year's Aylesbury on Sea has lots of the activities and entertainment with a few new surprises.

You can have a donkey ride, play in the sand-pit or simply chill on a deckchair whilst listening to the brass band play or watching Punch & Judy. If you're brave enough you could try the surf simulator or maybe play a family game of crazy golf.

The wild and wacky "Day Trippers", will ride into town on their pink motorbike and sidecar whilst playing the trombone, there is face painting, balloon modelling and a dedicated craft area for the under 5's as well as crafts for the older kids.

There will also be a real life mermaid and the Friars Square giant deckchair.

And don't worry if you get a little peckish because The Works will be on site with their ice-cream bike and there is a wide variety of restaurants, cafés and bars around the venue for you to enjoy.

The event is in Kingsbury and is running from 11am till 4pm.
