Absconder from Springhill Prison FOUND

UPDATE: Michael Presley has been found by police.

The 24 year old, from Didcot, was located yesterday (13/9) and charged with one count of escaping from lawful custody. 

Presley will appear before High Wycombe Magistrates Court later today.



There's been another prisoner that's absconded from Springhill Prison in Aylesbury.

Michael Presley, aged 24, absconded from HMP Springhill at about 9pm last night (12/9).

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Bruce Wilson of the Investigation Hub based at Aylesbury Police Station, said:

“We would advise the public not to approach Michael Presley. If you see him call police on 999 and quote reference 43170271401 or in a non emergency please call the force on 101.

“Presley has links to Didcot so we would ask residents in and around the town to be particularly vigilant.

“He is white, about 6ft 2ins, slim, with short brown hair and tattoos on neck, arms, hands, back and legs.”
