Man charged after Aylesbury betting shop robbed at knife point

A man's been charged after a betting shop in Aylesbury was robbed at knife point.

Reeves Lydon of no fixed abode was charged on Monday (18/9) with robbery and possession of a knife/blade/sharp/pointed article in a public place.

The charges are in connection with an incident on Sunday (17/9) at 11pm when a male employee was locking up a shop in Parton Road, Aylesbury when he was approached by a man who put a knife to this throat and demanded cash from the shop safe.

Lydon has been remanded in custody and he is due to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on 24 October.
