Bucks Uni celebrates top spot for teaching - again!

The University of Buckingham has held on to top spot for it's quality of teaching in this year's Good University Guide.

It's also ranked fourth for 'student experience'.

The private University's seen a 22 % increase in demand for places - bucking a national 4% downward trend - thanks in part to their two-year degrees which were first pioneered 40 years ago.

Except in medicine, Buckingham's UK and EU undergraduates pay a total of £24,888 for their two-year course. That's about £3,000 cheaper than a conventional three-year degree in the state sector.

Cambridge University is still considered the best overall, holding off Oxford for a fifth successive year.
