UPDATE (4pm):

South Central Ambulance confirm six people were injured in the accident on the A41 this morning:

We were called at 08.38 with the caller reporting a three vehicle collision at the junction of Rose Terrace and Baker Street – the vehicles having rear-ended each other.

We sent an officer in a rapid response vehicle and two ambulances to the scene.

There are six patients with a variety of mainly minor injuries; four patients were treated at the scene and two were then taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital for further treatment.

UPDATE (midday):

The road has been reopened in both directions.

ORIGINAL STORY:

There's been an accident on the A41 towards Waddesdon, involving three cars and a lorry.

Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to release a man who was injured.

Three fire appliances and crews from Aylesbury, one from Thame and two officers attended.

A girl was injured but not trapped.
