There's been an accident by the roundabout outside Aylesbury College.

Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to release a woman who was injured after a collision involving two cars.

She was suffering from neck and back pain and was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital for further assessment.

Another woman was earlier reported as injured, but South Central Amulance Service said: "the other driver said they were fine and didn’t need to be assessed."

It's causing delays coming into Aylesbury, but traffic is still moving in the opposite direction.

Two Bucks Fire appliances and crews from Aylesbury and an officer attended.

Ambulance services are also on the scene.

The road was closed earlier but it has since been reopened:

Aylesbury College is now one campus of the Buckinghamshire College Group
