Windows smashed in Southcourt attempted burglary

Someone has tried to lever-open a door and smashed windows in an attempted burglary in Aylesbury.

It happened on Prebendal Avenue in Southcourt on Wednesday evening.

Between 5:30pm and 10:30pm someone tried to force open the front door of a flat.

They smashed several panes of glass and also attempted to lever open the door of a 1st floor residence.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Bruce Wilson, based at Aylesbury Police Station, would like to hear from anyone that might have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area that evening.
