HS2 Limited is planning on digging up part of the A413 to the South of Wendover.

They need to do it to find out if the area is suitable to build the rail line over.

The company will be looking at what services, such as gas, electricity, water, cable and anything else might be there.

Temporary traffic lights

A letter from HS2 said:

'There will be no disruption to any of your services during these works.

'We will need to use temporary traffic lights to reduce traffic to one lane in the location shown on the map. Works are scheduled to start on Tuesday 3rd April and investigations are expected to last no longer than one week.

'There will be noise from the working of machinery, including a powered saw that will be used to cut the tarmac and an excavator which will dig the trenches. The work will be restricted to the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, so you will not have noise outside of these times.'
