Man dies in A41 crash near Aylesbury

A man has died in a crash on the A41 near Aylesbury.

The 26-year-old died at the scene of the collision with a tanker lorry yesterday morning.

It happened on the A41 Aston Clinton Bypass at about 9.40am.

His black Renault Clio was in collision with a white articulated lorry in a layby on the road.

The man's next of kin have been informed.

Investigating officer, PC Ashley Jordan, of the Thames Valley Police Roads Policing Unit, based at Amersham, said:

“I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident, or who saw the Renault prior to the collision to call Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting reference 292 (11/4).”
