Four Prison Officers have been hurt during trouble at Aylesbury Young Offenders Institution yesterday (15/4).

The violence broke out in E wing which houses 70 men aged under 21.

Inmates were said to be unhappy about the time they were allowed out of their cells and a lack of showers.

In a statement, the Prison Service said:

"Prison staff at HMYOI Aylesbury have successfully resolved a brief period of indiscipline today involving a small number of offenders on one wing."

Visits to go ahead

People will still be able to visit inmates today, after the incident.

More on this as we get it.
