There is a problem with landline users being able to call 999 in Aylesbury this lunchtime (Fri).

Bucks Fire & Rescue have tweeted about the temporary problem, which BT have let them know about.

Mobile phone users are unaffected by the outage.

Bucks Fire say the actual 999 service is still up and running, so if you do have an emergency you will need to use your mobile.

UPDATE: Bucks Fire have reported the problem has been resolved
