Armed Robbery in Stokenchurch

A supermarket cashier has suffered a cut to his head after two masked robbers raided the store in Stokenchurch near High Wycombe.

It happened at around 9.15pm on Thursday 13th September when two offenders entered the Tesco Express store in George Road and demanded money.

One was armed with a bladed article and hit one of the two cashiers, who is in his 40s.

Both offenders were believed to be men and both were wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered.

They left the area in a car which was a purple Ford Fiesta with the vehicle registration starting R304.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Daniel Thompson of the Force CID at High Wycombe, said:

“We are thoroughly investigating this incident and two arrests have been made.

“We take incidents of this nature very seriously and we would like anyone with information about this to come forward to us.

“We would especially like to speak to anyone who may have seen the vehicle described before or after the incident.
