Christmas single released to help homeless in Leighton Buzzard

Gemma Aguilar, Charity Single

Published by Charlotte Fisher at 5:41am 7th December 2018.

Helping the homeless through a charity single, that's what a Leighton Buzzard woman is doing this Christmas.

Gemma Aguilar has released 'Christmas Wish' to raise money for local causes.

The proceeds will go to multiple charities, including the Leighton and Linslade shelter.

Gemma was influenced to do something after seeing more homeless people on the streets in the town, she told us:

"We don't even have animals on the streets.

"Stray dogs will go to dog shelters, but we have people living on the streets.

"It all seems to backwards to me that we're not looking after people enough.

"What ever circumstance, I don't think anyone should ever have to live like that.

"It's so awful and at Christmas time it's even worse."

The single is under the name 'Indigo Franklyn' and is available on all platforms.
