Winslow Centre could be demolished

Plans to knock-down the Winslow Centre are being looked at.

The County Council want to redevelop the site, off Park Road, to use as one of the new hubs when the new council takes over next year.

They currently run the site at a £123,789 loss, but this could be reduced with a new building.

As part of the new unitary authority, called Buckinghamshire Council, the site could be used as one of 19 community hubs as a point of contact.

The current redundant buildings have already been emptied in preparation for the move.

The County Council report says this will help with wider regeneration going on in Winslow, including the new East West Rail station, which is a BCC project.
