Next section of Aylesbury link road... if 1,400 homes are built

Plans for 1,400 homes, a school and the next section of the Aylesbury link road have been revealed.

The development would be between Hawkslade/Walton Court and the HS2 line.

What would be included?

  • 1,400 homes
  • Community facilities
  • Two-form entry primary school
  • 50% green space/parkland/sports pitches
  • New link road, part of the wider new network planned/being built around Aylesbury

New road

Martin Dalby Way - Link Road
The Western Link Road at Berryfields was the first stretch to open

The new road would connect the A418 Oxford Road and the new A4010 road around Stoke Mandeville.

That will be a bypass around the village, as part of HS2 mitigation already announced.

The roundabout at Fairford Leys would be enlarged, with access to this new development on the left as you leave Aylesbury.

Part of Oxford Road will be seeing some changes as part of the HS2 project, to build a bridge over the line.
