EXCLUSIVE: Next restaurant coming to Aylesbury

UPDATE: We can exclusively reveal the next restaurant coming to Aylesbury.

A bar and restaurant from a group known as The Lounges is set to open here and it's now been confirmed where.

Rococo Lounge will be opening at The Exchange.

Job ads have been posted for the new venue.

The chain started in Bristol, but has expanded rapidly across the UK.

There are sites in Amersham and Bicester, called Metro Lounge and Torino Lounge.

Their menus range from brunch, through to sandwiches, burgers, salads and tapas, as well as cocktails and coffee.

Each branch has its own name, with Aylesbury's called Rococo Lounge.

The Exchange

The Exchange development, near the cinema, is set to open very soon.

Lounges will join Zizzi in the new development, which will include a public square nearing completion at time of writing.

The Exchange has been a long-time coming, with plans first revealed in 2014 for the redevelopment of part of the Exchange Street car park.

The Exchange is the likely location for the new offering

That in itself forms part of the wider Waterside North project, which includes the BCC car park, new public realms and the new restaurant coming to the old police HQ building near the Ben & Nia roundabout.

We have approached the group for a statement, as they are recruiting for managers at the moment, as well as AVDC who are project leads on The Exchange.

As yet, we have had nothing back.
