Woman charged with racially aggravated assault in Aylesbury

A woman has been charged with racially and religiously aggravated assault after two incidents in the centre of Aylesbury.

On Thursday (7th Feb) Thames Valley Police arrested a woman on suspicion of assault in High Street, Aylesbury.

Rachel Ashby, aged 26 of Belgrave Road, was charged on Friday (8th Feb) with assault and racially/religiously aggravated assault.

It's in connection with two incidents:

  1. 17th January on Exchange Street
  2. 27th January on the High Street, both in Aylesbury

Rachel Ashby is due at High Wycombe Magistrates Court on 8 March.
