High Street closed for hours after shop ram-raided in Tring

Tring's High Street has been closed off, after a ram raid.

The road has been partially shut for much of today (Sunday), after the McColl's convenience store on the High Street was hit.

Police have been on the scene, with investigations still underway earlier this afternoon.

It reportedly happened at around 4am.

In the video, she says she was woken up by the loud bangs as the ram raid took place.

It appears two vans were used.

Police haven't released any more details yet.

On the group Everything Tring, 

Suzanne Kibbler from the shop, said:

Good Morning, Sue from McColl's Newsagents on the high street, please accept our apologies there will be no news rounds going out today due to us getting ram raided . The shop is closed at the moment and we will update when possible .
