18-year-old pleads guilty after Tring robbery

An 18-year-old man has pleaded guilty to robbery after an incident in Tring last month.

Callum Green, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to robbery and two counts of possession of an offensive weapon (a knife and a metal bar) when he appeared at St Albans Crown Court last Monday (11th Feb).

The charges relate to a robbery that took place at the Lifestyle convenience store in Christchurch Road on 7th January at around 6.20pm.

Money is reported to have been stolen from the till, along with alcohol and cigars.

No-one was hurt during the incident.

He is due to appear at the same court for sentencing on March 13th.
