Aylesbury favourite The Works goes 'up for sale'

A popular restaurant in Aylesbury has gone up for sale.

The Works, who first opened on Market Square, said it was with great sadness that they announced today's news.

Since opening here in 2014, further sites have opened in High Wycombe and Chelmsford.

But in an update today, owners said that last restaurant has closed.

"We want to thank all of our wonderful guests who supported us over the last 12 months, but most of all, we want to thank our incredible team who have stuck by us and done us proud - we love you all."

The post goes on to say that as part of a restructure, all three businesses have been put 'up for sale'.

Both Aylesbury and Wycombe's units are up for lease online.

The post goes on to say:

"However, we have every intention of staying in Aylesbury and High Wycombe for a very long time.

"Aylesbury & High Wycombe are OPEN now, serving the good stuff, like we always do."

The chain was started by a family from Weston Turville and has been a success story for Aylesbury.
